Pros:

1. Easy to insert

2. Lower profile

3. Large variety of ends

4. different styles - Standard, Curved, Circular and labret.

5. Easy to put in

Cons

1. The ends can be difficult to remove

2. The lead can break off in the post

3. The Hollow tube post can trap contaminates

4. If not bent correctly the ends can fall off

5. More expensive than rings or threaded jewelry

Living with the jewelry

• Can be worn for a long period of time

• Should be cleaned from time to time

• May need to invest in Hemostats to make removal
