In the 20th Episode of Body Piercing Basic,  DaVo begins a new series of videos on how to start piercing professionally. In this episode, referencing his 25 years piercing, he covers whether or not Piercing is the career for you. In this behind the scenes video, he covers many misconceptions about being a piercer and some of the advantages, disadvantages and lifestyle changes that are involved in piercing professionally. This video is designed is to give those considering piercing a clear understanding of what the job is like and often the side of the industry that clients rarely see in the day to day operation of a piercing studio. In future episodes, he will be covering research and preparing for an apprenticeship and finding an apprenticeship.

This video is designed for those new to Body Piercing and as an educational introduction. You should always consult a professional piercer or medical profession before getting any piercing or embarking on a piercing procedure. One of the concepts behind this series is to give the average person the ability to have an educated conversation about the piercing will be done with their piercer.
