Aftercare Products

  • We suggest

    • Neilmed Piercing Aftercare or Wound Wash Sterile saline spray

    • Biotene Antiseptic Mouthwash

    • Saltwater rinses with sea salt and distilled water.




Need to stick with simple foods that limit chewing and movement. Also avoid acidic, spicy, or hot food & beverages and cut down on salt.

  • Nutritional Foods:

    • Veggie Smoothies

    • Veggie Drinks like Naked Juice Green Machine

    • Nutritional shakes like Ensure

    • Non-Citrus Fruit Juices

    • Juice and berry smoothies

  • Soft Foods

    • Baby Food

    • Apple Sauce

    • Greek Yogurt

    • low sodium canned soft fruit

    • Mousse

    • Pudding

    • Poached or Hard Boiled Eggs

  • Cold Items

    • Ice Cream

    • Frozen Yogurt

    • Popsicle

    • Sorbet

    • Frozen Treats without nuts or other toppings

  • Drinks

    • Ice cold drinks including milk, ice tea and ice coffee drinks

    • Ice Cold Water

    • Non-citrus Juice

    • Avoid Soda and energy drinks that are high in sodium.

    • Also depending on the piercing, buy some straws.



  • Chipped ice

  • lots of water

  • Limit movement of the piercing area

    • limit talking

    • Don’t play with it

    • cut down on chewing

  • Sleep with your head above your heart

  • cut down or stop smoking and/or vaping


Day Of

  • Get plenty of rest the night before.

  • Do not drink the night before or the day of

  • Do a stress-reducing activity

  • Have a favorite meal a few hours before going in

  • Plan on resting the rest of the day if possible
