Learn to Pierce Part 2 - Tear Down & Clean-up - Body Piercer Basics EP105

In the 105th episode in our Youtube series Body Piercing Basics, DaVo begins a new sub-series Learning to Pierce. These are videos designed to help educate those that are considering or Body Piercing as a career as a precursor to starting an apprenticeship. This is in no way designed to teach anyone to do piercings on themselves or others without proper training and supervision. They can also be beneficial to those getting piercings and understand what should be taking place when they get a piercing done.

In the first Episode, DaVo covers Tearing Down and Cleaning Up after completing a piercing.

Show Notes:

1. Don a fresh pair of gloves(Third Pair)

2. Place contaminated items in the Sharps container

3. Place contaminated re-usable tools in an airtight filled with a hard surface cleaner

4. wrap all other items in the dental bib into a ball and then pull off a glove to cover it and depose of it in a “Hot” Trash container

5. Remove other glove

6. Wash hands

7. Clean off all surfaces with a disinfectant
