Frequesntly Asked Questions about Music.
No and don't ask, they hate me. Really, some of them are good friend but I don't do that. If you want stuff like that, go to their shows and stand out side the bus for a couple of hours like a good fan boy.
About once a month I get an e-mail asking about getting a Mate, Feed, Repeat CD. Sorry but I can't even find my personal copy and think that someone might have taken it. There was only 1000 to begin with and it was over 14 years ago. If you see one for sell, please be careful there are a lot of bootlegs out there. Also I have no idea if they will ever reissue the CD. It was a different line-up and the band owns the rights to the record. Meaning that if the band wants this CD to see the light of day again it is completely up to the band. Maybe when they call it quits. Who knows.
It is me in the photo on the insert in the CD swinging the hammer. The person in the cage is Greg "Butch" Welts and it was taken in the alley behind the old Axiom way back in 1996. There is a lot of old footage, recordings, flyers, and photos from 1995 through 1998 that have never seen the light of day. Those are all in the control of the band, Please do not ask me for stuff. If you have a question and I know the answer I will answer but I'm not going to record, copy or bootleg anything for you. Why? cause it doesn't below to me.
It's off and on. It's kind of like the Mob as soon as you think you're out they suck you back in. As of the writing of this on October 3rd,2011, it's a flat no. I have in the past promoted shows for bands and agents that I've worked with in the past but with the closing of Hairy Mary's in 2007, I just don't feel comfortable working with any of the other venues in town. If you are looking for a show in the area, feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com and I'll try to get you in contact with someone that might be able to help you.
During the summer of 2012 I found 10 copies of the tape. I held back 5 of them for the members and family and then auctioned off the other 5 on Ebay. Surprisingly, one copy went for as much as $40.
So the tape is completely sold out. However, you can now buy a digital version of the single. All the details are at http://havenots.net.
